Hi, My name is Molly and this is my blog; Beaute Beads. Here you can follow me on my journey as I learn and develop new jewellery manufacturing skills. I began making jewellery from beads at a very young age. As I grew older I became more curious in the endless possiblities of Jewellery Design. I am studing an Advance Diploma of Jewellery Design. I have been introduced and have commenced using Silversmithing processes, general use of precious and non precious metals, casting, gem setting, bezel making, shaping, annealing, soldering, inlay, burring, texturing. You can expect more learned techniques and visions of my progress in the future to come.

Funny Photographing Experience

I have already shared this story and photo on my Facebook page today but for those of you on blogger here it is now:

This morning I was out in the garden photographing my jewellery pieces as per normal. When I placed this heart broach I made on a rock, whilst getting ready to take a photograph.
Then! One of our chickens snuck up close and picked it up with its beak!
I was fast enough to grab it before the chook ran of with it! Thank goodness!
I thought it would be a real treat to go with this story!
Therefore I placed the broach back down on the rock and got a photograph of the chook's curiosity. Hehe!

Have you had any funny experiences with animals?

I have been chased out of the chicken coop by a chicken as a child. I also had a pet chicken Polka-dot as a child.

They are a little like crows in that they love shiny objects. Don't leave a diamond in the chicken pen.
